For our latest podcast we’ll be looking some examples of using audio recordings as a way of providing feedback to students on their work. Asun Solano (Dept of European Studies and Modern Languages) describes her project using audio to provide feedback to Spanish language students and Hedley Bashforth (Dept of Social and Policy Sciences) talks about recording and delivering audio feedback on student performance in mock exams. We discuss what audio feedback can offer, the practicalities of recording and delivering audio files through Moodle, and how to ensure your audio feedback is as effective as possible.

This series of podcasts aims to support practitioners in using technology in their teaching and learning and to develop an understanding of good practice by highlighting examples of the use of technology at the University of Bath.

These monthly podcasts will: give updates on news from the University of Bath e-learning team; provide advice, guidance and links to further information on using technology; and explore the enhancement of learning through technology in discussions with staff from a variety of contexts across the University.

The podcasts can be listened to or downloaded from this page or you can subscribe to the podcast RSS feed (What is RSS?).

We would welcome feedback on any of our podcasts. Feel free to leave comments on these podcast blog pages, fill out our quick and easy survey here, or e-mail e-learning@bath.ac.uk with observations, ideas and questions.

Many thanks go to Daniel Thomason for his brilliant composition of the e-learning podcast intro music.
