Episode 5: Open Educational Resources (OER)

June 30, 2010

This month we look at Open Educational Resources (OER) with Momna Hejmadi, Senior Fellow in the Department of Biology and Biochemistry.  We’ll be talking about her involvement in a JISC/HEFCE  funded project through the UK Centre for Bioscience where resources created at the University of Bath have been shared openly with the wider academic community.

The e-Learning Team will be taking a break from podcasting over the summer and will return in October 2010.

Episode 4: QR codes

June 8, 2010

This month we investigate QR codes in education and talk with Andy Ramsden (Head of e-Learning) who has been co-ordinating their use at the University of Bath.  In the light of a recent 12-month review of the QR code service, we explore its successes and failures, and consider what form QR codes might take as a learning technology in the future.
